Skechers has released a limited edition of the Harry Kane SKX_2 Elite "Mark of Greatness" boot, with only 73 pairs available to the public. The release celebrates Kane's Ballon d'Or win, the sport's highest individual honour.
The boots carry gilded branding and metallic spikes on the sole, designed to match a special pair Skechers made for Kane himself. That one-of-one pair includes actual 24-karat gold leaf. A jeweller helped design the style.
The 73 public pairs are individually numbered. The number matches Kane's goals for club and country in 2026. The boots will be sold through 11TeamSports, Pro-Direct, Soccer.com and Unisport. Each retailer runs its own raffle system, so buyers will need to enter through the retailer they choose. The price and the exact date and time the raffles open have not been announced.
Kane's year and the win
Kane won back-to-back Bundesliga titles and finished third at the World Cup in the past year. He was the first Bayern Munich player to win the Ballon d'Or in nearly half a decade. He is also only the second Englishman to win it this century. The award was presented in his hometown of London.
In a statement, Kane said the award belonged to his teammates, staff, family, friends and fans. "Having Skechers design a bespoke boot to mark this achievement makes it even more special," he said. He said he would wear the boots on the pitch.
What happens next
Kane was due to debut the one-of-one pair in a Bayern Munich match against Dortmund. How many people have entered the raffles, and when winners will be picked, is not yet known.
