EA brings 25 classic PC games, including Road Rash, to Steam

Electronic Arts has released 25 classic PC games from the 1990s on digital storefronts, including Steam, GOG and the EA App. The releases went live on 5 November 2026, according to one report.

Among the titles are Road Rash, the motorcycle racing game, and six Wing Commander games. EA calls the seven newer versions Anniversary Editions. The Road Rash release is a 30th Anniversary Edition, and it returns with its original licensed soundtrack.

What EA says it changed

EA says the Anniversary Editions keep the original look, feel and creative intent of each game. They also add updates meant to suit modern computers and controls, and to improve performance.

EA says the work began when its team found a physical media vault holding thousands of Betacam, VHS and D1 tapes, along with other media assets. While digitising the material, the team recovered master full-motion video sequences and re-edited them.

The company says the tape discovery inspired the new editions. The Road Rash release marks the game's return after three decades. The sources do not say how many of the 25 games are Anniversary Editions beyond the seven named, or what each title's price is.

For Indian PC gamers, the releases are available through the storefronts named, which would let them buy the titles from those platforms. The sources do not give regional prices.
