Tabu unveils character as Mahanthi Jhansi Rani in Nagarjuna's King 100

The makers of King 100 released the first character glimpse of Tabu on 4 November 2026, her birthday. The clip introduces her as Mahanthi Jhansi Rani, a politician. It marks the first time she shares the screen with Akkineni Nagarjuna in 28 years.

Her character believes authority comes through hard work rather than luck. One report describes her composed demeanour and commanding presence on screen. The clip is brief, so how her character will confront Nagarjuna's role is not yet clear.
