Asus announces Diwali sale on Zenbook, Vivobook, ROG and TUF laptops

Asus has announced a Diwali sale on its laptops in India, with discounts on select models sold through Amazon and Flipkart. The offers cover its Zenbook, Vivobook, ROG and TUF Gaming ranges, and the company's ExpertBook series is also included in some reports of the sale.

According to the announcement, buyers can get discounts of up to 58% on select models. The reports do not say which models carry the largest cut, and they do not list the exact prices or the dates the offers end.

What the sale covers

The sale spans four product families. Zenbook is Asus's premium thin-and-light line, Vivobook is aimed at everyday use, ROG is its high-performance gaming range, and TUF Gaming is a sturdier, more affordable gaming series. The ExpertBook range is aimed at business users.

The offers are available on both Amazon and Flipkart, the two largest online shopping sites in India. Buyers will need to check each listing for the final price, as the discount applies only to the models named in the offer.

The festive sale comes ahead of Diwali, when retailers in India typically cut prices on electronics. Asus has not said whether the offers will be extended beyond the festive period.

For buyers in India, the sale is a chance to compare models across the four ranges before the festival season ends. Anyone planning to buy should compare the discounted price with the usual price on each site, since the reports do not give either figure for individual laptops.
