Maatrubhumi
Salman Khan's war drama Maatrubhumi will open in Indian cinemas on Friday, 20 November, according to a release date shown at the film's trailer launch in Mumbai on 6 November.
The film was first announced as Battle Of Galwan before being renamed Maatrubhumi earlier this year. It is set around the 2020 clash between India and China. Chitrangda Singh also stars.
The makers had earlier planned a 13 November release. That plan slipped after the film's censor certificate was delayed at the Central Board of Film Certification. Dates of 20 November or 11 December were then being considered.
The film ran into trouble over its content and references to China, at a time when ties between the two countries have been improving. The film later received government clearance.
The CBFC website shows the trailer was passed on Wednesday, 4 November. It carries a U/A 16+ rating, meaning viewers under 16 need an adult's accompaniment, and runs 4 minutes 43 seconds. Jio Studios will handle distribution across India.
It is not yet known how the film will be received by audiences or critics. It is not yet known whether the release will be the same across all languages or whether any further changes to the film are planned.
