Salman Khan sings new track 'Teri Sexy Beauty' for Maatrubhumi

Salman Khan has sung the newly released song 'Teri Sexy Beauty' for his upcoming film Maatrubhumi. Composer Sajid Ali Khan has said the track was recorded at short notice, and Salman sang it in a single take.

Sajid said Salman called him a week before the session and asked to record the song. Sajid set one condition: Salman should not eat or drink after waking, so that his voice would come out husky. "I needed that gravelly, husky voice that jazz singers have," Sajid said. The team listened to some jazz songs in the studio to set the mood. "It didn't take him long to record it as he knew it by heart," he added.

Lyrics and recording

According to the film's press note, Salman first considered changing some lyrics to suit the film's intense tone. He finally kept the song as it was written.

'Teri Sexy Beauty' features Salman and Chitrangda Singh, who share screen space in the track. Sajid Khan composed the music and wrote the lyrics. Caesar Gonsalves choreographed the song. The track is now available on major music platforms.

The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under the Salman Khan Films banner. Maatrubhumi is the film's title as given in the sources, and it is due for release later. The sources do not give a release date. Readers who follow Salman Khan's music work will note that this song adds another singing credit to his body of work, and his on-screen pairing with Chitrangda Singh is part of the picture too.
