Mentioned in this story
Mahindra's upcoming Scorpio N Edition One has been seen at a dealership yard, with pictures showing its exterior and interior ahead of an official announcement. The black SUV has a redesigned front grille and a wine-red cabin. The company has not confirmed the variant name, price or launch date.
The most visible change is at the front. The standard Scorpio N's vertical grille slats are replaced by several horizontal black bars, with small metallic inserts between them. The Mahindra Twin Peaks emblem sits in the centre, framed by bright trim. The headlamps, bonnet and fog-lamp areas look the same as on the regular model.
Inside, the cabin carries the biggest change. Dark wine-red upholstery covers the seats, parts of the dashboard and the door pads. It contrasts with black plastics on the upper dashboard and lower panels. The seats have stitching and perforated centre sections, and metallic trim surrounds the door handles, vents and centre console. The rear bench is split into two sections for passengers.
Exterior badges and wheels
Edition One badges appear on the rear pillars and front doors. The car keeps the tall vertical tail lamps, roof spoiler and rear wiper of the Scorpio N. Dark alloy wheels are fitted. Revised 18-inch diamond-cut wheels were added to some Scorpio N versions in August. The video does not show whether Edition One gets a separate wheel design.
Mahindra revised the Scorpio N's equipment in August 2026. The new Edition One appears to build on those changes, though the company has not said which features it includes.
For buyers, the key open questions are price, the list of features and when the car will reach showrooms. None of these has been announced. Until Mahindra makes an official statement, the details come only from the dealer yard pictures and video.
