The Pro and Pro Max models are expected in India, after a launch in China and global markets.

Vivo has signalled that its X500 series of flagship smartphones is coming to India this November. The company has not yet named a launch date. A tipster claims pre-bookings have already opened at some offline stores.

In a promotional post, Vivo said the devices are "Coming Soon". The post highlights the company's continued optical work with German optics maker ZEISS, under the line "ZEISS Cinematics. Create Further".

The X500 series first launched in China and other global markets. The Indian lineup is expected to include the X500 Pro and the X500 Pro Max. Both models have appeared in earlier reports about their India availability and pricing. The tipster's claim about pre-bookings has not been confirmed by Vivo.

What the teaser shows

Vivo's teaser focuses on camera quality rather than specifications or price. The ZEISS tie-up has been a feature of Vivo's flagship phones for several generations. Vivo has not said which camera features the Indian models will carry.

For buyers in India, the key open questions are price and date. Neither has been confirmed by the company. Readers who want to pre-book should check with Vivo or an authorised retailer before paying any deposit.

Vivo has not said when the India launch will take place. Until the company announces a date and prices, the details remain unconfirmed.
