Krithi Shetty has wrapped up the opening phase of filming for her Hindi film Hum Tere Pyaar Mein, a romantic drama. The 20-day outdoor shoot took place in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, and marks her move into Bollywood as a lead actor. The film is backed by filmmaker Rohit Shetty and AVS Studios, working alongside Tudip Entertainment.
The film started shooting on 15 October 2026. Before the first day, the team visited the Tirupati Temple to seek blessings. The makers have also shared the official clapperboard from the project's launch. During the Shimla shoot, Rohit Shetty posted a glimpse of the location on social media and wished Vidhi Ghodgaonkar well. Ghodgaonkar is making her feature directorial debut with this film.
Krithi Shetty built her career in South Indian cinema, with films including Uppena, Bangarraju and Custody. Her casting in a Hindi romantic entertainer is meant to bring her to a wider theatrical audience across the Hindi-speaking belt. Among the cast in key roles are two performers: one a seasoned name from earlier decades of Indian cinema, the other a familiar face from a well-known romantic hit.
With the Himachal Pradesh leg finished, Krithi Shetty and the main cast and crew are set to return to Mumbai. The next schedule will focus on interior scenes and portions set in an urban setting, filmed on sets. Further schedules are expected over the coming months.
The makers are aiming for a theatrical release in 2027. The release date and the number of schedules have not been announced.
