KTM has shown its new 450 RC supersport motorcycle at EICMA 2026 in Milan. The bike uses a twin-cylinder engine, marking KTM's move into that segment. The company has not yet said how much power or torque it makes, and the full technical specifications are still to be announced.
The company says the 450 RC has a dedicated chassis setup. At the front, a 43 mm WP APEX fork with adjustable compression and rebound sits on the frame. At the rear, a WP APEX shock offers adjustable preload and rebound, mounted on a single-sided swingarm. The front brake uses a 320 mm disc with a four-piston radial caliper from WP, and the company says a single front disc helps cut unsprung weight. Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres come fitted as standard.
Electronics include Cornering ABS, Motorcycle Traction Control and dual-channel ABS with Road and Supermoto modes. Riders choose from several ride modes through a 5-inch TFT display. The bike also has USB-A and USB-C charging ports.
KTM said the 450 RC will enter production in late 2027 as a 2028 model. The company has not yet confirmed which markets will receive it. KTM will share more on availability closer to production.
The bike's price, and whether it will reach Indian showrooms, have not been announced.
