TVS Motor has unveiled three electric scooters for Europe at EICMA 2026 in Milan: the Orbiter, the M1-S and the TVS X. Prices and sales dates have not been announced for any of the three.
The Orbiter is the most practical of the three, aimed mainly at city commutes and short trips. It gets a choice of two batteries, a 1.8 kWh pack with an expected WMTC range of 70 km and a 3.1 kWh pack rated at 105 km. Its 1.85 kW rated motor peaks at 2.9 kW and tops out at 45 km/h. The scooter has 34 litres of storage under the seat and a 5-inch LCD display. European type approval is planned for 2027.
The production-spec M1-S is a full-size maxi scooter, developed in Singapore and based on Ion Mobility's M1-S. It carries a 4.2 kWh NMC lithium-ion battery mounted low in the floor to lower its centre of gravity. Its expected range is 120 km and its top speed is 105 km/h. The scooter weighs 150 kg and has a 7-inch TFT display. Its peak motor output is 16.8 hp.
The European-spec TVS X is the premium model. Its 4.43 kWh battery is rated at up to 140 km, and its peak output is 15.7 hp. It reaches 40 km/h from a standstill in 2.5 seconds. Riders can pick from three modes, Xtealth, Xtride and Xonic, and the scooter offers five levels of regenerative braking. A 10.2-inch touchscreen supports Android Auto and onboard LTE. European sales will start only after EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval is complete, which is still in progress.
Prices for European buyers have not been set, and the company has said they will be announced closer to launch. TVS has not yet said when the M1-S and TVS X will go on sale. Full pricing and launch timing for all three models remain unknown.
