Asus has brought two new creator laptops to India, the ProArt P16 and ProArt P14. Both run on NVIDIA's RTX Spark N1X computing platform and are aimed at content creators and AI developers. Sales start today, 3 November.

The ProArt P16 comes with a 16-inch 4K OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is Pantone Validated, a certification meant to show that its colours are accurate. The laptop is available with up to 128GB of unified memory. Asus said its GPU has up to 6,144 cores and its CPU has 20 cores. The 64GB version costs ₹4,99,990, and the 128GB version costs ₹6,49,990.

The ProArt P14 is the smaller model. It has a 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen with the same 120Hz refresh rate and Pantone Validation. It uses the same N1X chip, with a 5,120-core GPU and an 18-core CPU, and comes with 24GB of RAM. It weighs 1.48kg and is 1.39cm thick, and it has a 90Wh battery. It is priced at ₹3,29,990.

Accessories launched alongside

Asus also introduced two accessories. The ProArt Mouse MD301 has buttons that can each be programmed, along with 8,000 DPI sensors and a SmartShift scroll wheel. Its settings can be changed through the Gear Link app, which runs in a browser. The ProArt Keyboard KD300 is a 65 per cent layout keyboard with optical switches. It includes a touchpad with four modes and a Type-C rechargeable battery that Asus said lasts up to 16 months.

Asus said the laptops can run more than 1,000 AI-accelerated applications, including Adobe, Blender and ComfyUI. The company describes the P16 and P14 as suited to developers who want to run AI workloads locally on the machine rather than in the cloud.

The laptops will be sold through Asus Exclusive Stores, Croma, Reliance Digital, Flipkart, Amazon and the Asus Eshop. Asus has not said how many units it will make available, or whether prices will change during sales events.
