Shah Rukh Khan releases first song from KING, featuring Deepika Padukone

Shah Rukh Khan released the first song from his upcoming action film KING on his birthday, on 2 November 2026. The track, called 'Tu Mil Jaaye', features Arijit Singh on lead vocals and an English rap by Ed Sheeran. It also brings back Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone as a romantic pair.

The music video opens with a dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan: "Main qaatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishana meri mashooka, aur woh aashiq hi kya jo dil cheer na de." It moves into an upbeat dance number. Madhubanti Bagchi also sings on the track. Sachin-Jigar composed the music, Kumaar wrote the lyrics and Piyush-Shazia handled the choreography. Ed Sheeran wrote the English rap.

Romance and action in one track

The video mixes romantic scenes against large sets with action sequences, quick transitions and sharp exchanges between characters. It ends with another line from Shah Rukh Khan: "Iss baar dil mein aag lagi hai, ab duniya jalaye bina manega nahi." The makers have used the song to give an early look at the film's tone and the different sides of his character.

KING is directed by Siddharth Anand. Gauri Khan, Mamta Anand and Siddharth Anand produce it under Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand wrote the screenplay. The film is an action thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan.
