Shraddha Kapoor stars as Lavani legend Vithabai in musical drama Eetha

Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations have released the trailer for Eetha, a musical drama starring Shraddha Kapoor. The trailer was published on 30 October 2026.

The film is inspired by the life of Eetha Bai, a Lavani legend. Lavani is a folk performance tradition from Maharashtra that combines dance, song and music. The film follows a woman who defied convention and overcame many obstacles to build a lasting place in the art form. The trailer shows the musical and visual scale of the film.

Shraddha Kapoor plays Eetha Bai in the film. She said the character's art, courage and individuality make her unforgettable. She said she felt connected to the character's world as director Laxman told her more about her. She called the role an exciting experience.
