Ramayana
Ranbir Kapoor's film Ramayana has earned an estimated Rs 100 crore gross worldwide on its second day.
In the Nizam region, the film brought in Rs 7.67 crore nett across its first two days. Its second-day hold was strong even though it fell on a working day. Those Telangana numbers are in line with the earnings of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, another large release.
The film is competing during the quiet stretch before Diwali, when business in North India is usually slow. Its makers priced most tickets at premium levels, but kept regular prices in the Telugu states. Crowds in Hyderabad have been large.

Early Hindi box office estimates put the third day at Rs 50 crore to Rs 51 crore. Taken together with the earlier days, the three-day total is estimated at about Rs 130 crore. Estimates for the first two days alone were Rs 79.75 crore, and the film had its best day so far on Saturday.
Most of the current earnings are coming from urban centres. Mass audiences in North India are expected to join from Monday, when the pre-Diwali period ends. A four-day weekend total of around Rs 170 crore is projected.
The film is also expected to attempt the biggest single-day collection in Hindi cinema history on Monday, with a possibility of crossing Rs 100 crore in one day. These figures show how strongly the film is drawing audiences in both metros and Telugu-speaking states.
The lifetime total will depend on Monday's business, which is not yet known.
