ElevenLabs lets users publish AI music directly to SoundCloud

ElevenLabs users can now publish AI-generated music directly to SoundCloud, the streaming platform said. The new integration removes the step of exporting tracks from ElevenLabs and uploading them by hand.

SoundCloud said that tracks published from ElevenLabs to its platform carry a label that marks them as AI-generated, so listeners can see where they came from. The integration is part of a wider partnership between the two companies.

What subscribers get

SoundCloud Artist Pro subscribers will also receive three months of ElevenMusic Pro at no cost. The offer lets artists test ElevenLabs' generative music tools before deciding whether to pay for them. SoundCloud has earlier partnered with Moises, another AI music platform, which this new deal follows.

The company's own count puts the number of tracks made with its music models at over 25 million, a figure that has not been independently checked.

The details in this story come from the companies' own announcements. The integration is not described as an independent test or review. It is not yet clear how many artists will use the feature, or how listeners will respond to AI-labelled tracks on the platform.
