Bhuvan Bam's Dhindora returns to Netflix with season 2 on 20 November

Netflix will stream season 2 of Dhindora from 20 November, the company said in its newsroom announcement. Creator Bhuvan Bam returns with the comedy-drama, which grew out of his BB Ki Vines channel and is his first full-length web series.

The new season picks up with Titu Mama, the character at the centre of the show. He has lost ₹11 crore, and he decides to patch things up with his in-laws. The company's announcement described the plot as a fresh round of family trouble, and said the story would grow into something bigger.

A series that started on YouTube

The first season was released on Bam's YouTube channel and drew a strong online following. Season 1 centred on ordinary family life, small-town ambitions and poor choices. Bam said the show had begun as "a chaotic and deeply relatable world." He said season 2 takes that tone to "a much bigger canvas."

The series is backed by Rohit Raj alongside Bam as co-producer. The show uses familiar characters from BB Ki Vines, which means returning viewers will see faces they already know.

Netflix has not released a trailer or a full cast list in the material available so far. The announcement does not give the number of episodes, and it does not say whether the season will be released all at once or in parts. Netflix has also not given a runtime or a price for the season, as it is included in the regular subscription.
