Sithara Entertainments to distribute Dhanush's film Om in Telugu states

Sithara Entertainments will distribute the Tamil action drama Om, starring Dhanush, in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Telugu-state release was announced on 4 November by Wunderbar Films, one of the film's producers, in a post on social media. The film is set to reach theatres on 20 November.

The company's announcement said the film would arrive in theatres near audiences across both states. Sithara Entertainments is headed by Naga Vamsi. Because a well-known distributor is handling the release, the film is likely to get a large number of screens and shows.

Om is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who also made Amaran. Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, Naseeruddin Shah and Indrans have supporting roles. The film is produced by Wunderbar Films and RTake Studios, and the music is composed by Sai Abhyankkar.

The film is one of the most anticipated releases of the year for Dhanush's fans. The actor has not had a film with this level of pre-release attention for some time. The Telugu states are among the biggest markets for South Indian films outside Tamil Nadu.

For Telugu moviegoers, the film's arrival means a wider choice of screenings in cities and towns across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Show timings have not yet been made public.

The announcement did not include ticket prices or a full schedule of screens. It is not yet known whether the film will get a dubbed or simultaneous Telugu release beyond the distribution deal. Those details are expected to be confirmed closer to 20 November.
