Royal Enfield has unveiled the Flying Flea S6, an electric scrambler, at the EICMA 2026 motorcycle show. It is the second motorcycle from the company's electric sub-brand. The bike is due in global markets in summer 2027.
The S6 is built for both paved roads and rougher ground. It has a round headlamp, an exposed frame and a handlebar and seat in the style of an enduro bike. Royal Enfield plans to sell it in Dart Yellow and Lightning Grey. Seat height and kerb weight have not been shared.
Hardware and features
The bike rolls on aluminium wheels with wire spokes, fitted with tyres meant for road and off-road use. Its suspension offers more travel than the earlier model to cope with uneven surfaces, though the company has not published travel figures. The battery sits in a finned magnesium casing, which the company says reduces weight and helps manage heat.
The motorcycle has a twist-and-go throttle, so riders do not change gears. A bidirectional crawl function lets it move slowly forward or in reverse, which could help when parking or turning in tight spaces. Riders get six modes, including an off-road setting and a custom option. They can adjust regenerative braking and traction control. The ABS is sensitive to lean angle and can be switched off at either wheel.
What is still unknown
Royal Enfield has not announced the motor's output, the battery capacity or the claimed riding range. The price has not been revealed either. Those details are expected closer to launch. Indian buyers will have to wait for the price and availability; the company has not confirmed when or whether the S6 will reach India, though one report gives 2027 as the Indian launch year.
