Year-to-date performance
For April to October, Hero's total sales rose 15.87% to 42.80 lakh units. The sales mix covers motorcycles, scooters and electric vehicles.
The month's growth came after a strong run for the company's scooter lineup. Hero has been pushing its electric and petrol scooters as demand for affordable two-wheelers has grown in India.
For buyers, the numbers point to a wider range of models in showrooms and steady demand in the 100cc motorcycle segment. Customers looking at scooters or electric options may also find more choice as volumes rise.
The figures are dispatch numbers, which measure what the company sends to dealers, not retail sales to customers. Dispatches and retail sales can differ in a given month.
