Mentioned in this story
Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle maker Ultraviolette has launched the X-47 Venom in India. The bike has an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹2.65 lakh for its first 5,000 customers, and ₹3 lakh after that, the company said.
Bookings opened on 22 October 2026 on Ultraviolette's website and at its UV Space Stations across India. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in November. The company will also show the motorcycle at EICMA 2026 in Milan on 3 November.
Motor, range and performance
The X-47 Venom is the first model built on Ultraviolette's new VX-100 100V platform. It uses a newly developed UV LIGHTFURY electric motor that the company rates at 30 kW, or about 40 hp, with 550 Nm of torque at the wheel.

Ultraviolette claims a top speed of 155 km/h. It says the bike reaches 60 km/h from a standstill in 2.7 seconds, and it claims the motorcycle can sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The company puts the kerb weight at 180 kg, which it says is 20 kg less than the previous-generation platform. The ground clearance is 200 mm.
Power comes from an 11 kWh SRB-11 battery pack. The company claims an IDC range of 343 km on a full charge. Real-world range will depend on riding style, traffic and conditions.
Charging is handled by a 1.6 kW onboard charger, and the bike supports DC fast charging at up to 12 kW. Charging time will depend on the charger used.
Ultraviolette also says the bike carries an extendable warranty of up to 8,00,000 km.
What it means for buyers
The introductory price applies only to the first 5,000 customers, so buyers who book early pay ₹35,000 less than the regular price. Those waiting for the November deliveries should check the charging options in their city, since the company's claimed range and charging figures depend on the equipment available.
Ultraviolette has not said how many units it expects to build or deliver in its first months.
