Advance bookings for Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, have crossed ₹20 crore in India ahead of its worldwide release on 5 November 2026. The film has sold 4.54 lakh tickets for its opening day across 13,256 active shows, excluding blocked seats, as of 1 November at 5 PM.
The ₹20.15 crore gross for Day 1 pre-sales places Ramayana third among Bollywood's top opening-day advance grossers of 2026. Dhurandhar 2 leads with ₹53 crore, followed by Drishyam 3 at ₹31.65 crore. Border 2 is fifth on that list with ₹12.5 crore.
The film has already crossed the ₹17 crore mark in net advance collection for its opening day. Ramayana is on track to be the sixth-biggest opener of the year, though it has not yet matched the scale of the top two titles.

Daily advance sales rose by about 36,000 tickets in a single day. Sales had previously peaked at around 50,000 a day, but reached 86,000 on the most recent day. The response to the film's Los Angeles premiere helped lift bookings.
Some fans have expressed disappointment over the film's screening formats. The flat format will be available only on IMAX screens, while other theatres will show the film in scope format. Fans have questioned that choice given the film's large budget.
The film is backed by Namit Malhotra and Yash. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi play the lead roles. Sunny Deol, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravi Dubey and Arun Govil also feature. Music for the film is credited to Hans Zimmer, with AR Rahman also working on the score.
Bookings could cross the one-lakh mark if the current trend holds. The film will release in multiple languages on 5 November, which coincides with Diwali. Final opening-day numbers will only be known after release.
