What's new
Maserati has announced India prices for the 2027 MCPura range. The coupe starts at ₹4.35 crore and the Cielo convertible at ₹5.2 crore. Compared with last year, the coupe is ₹23 lakh dearer and the Cielo ₹8 lakh dearer. Maserati also launched the GT2 Stradale in India at ₹5.72 crore, ex-showroom, according to Autox.
All MCPura models use a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 that makes 630hp and sends power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic. Sources give a 0-100kph time of 2.9 seconds. The MCPura is a facelifted MC20 with no major changes for 2027.
Why it matters
Buyers in India face higher prices for these cars this year. Autocar India says prices could fall next year, when a trade agreement with the European Union lowers import duties on some European-made petrol cars. The change would apply only to a limited number of units.
What others say
Autocar India and Autocar Professional report the MCPura prices and the expected drop. Autox reports the GT2 Stradale launch and its 631bhp output, which is 10bhp more than the MC20. The sources differ slightly on the MCPura's top speed, with one saying over 320kph and another over 325kph.
What we don't know yet
The sources do not say when the India-EU agreement will take effect or by how much prices may fall. It is also unclear how many units will qualify for the lower duties.
