CBSE releases 2027 Class 10 and 12 board exam timetable

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for its 2027 Class 10 and 12 board examinations. The exams are scheduled to run from 16 February to 9 March.

All papers will start at 10:30 am. The board said more than 45 lakh students have signed up for the exams, which cover 204 subjects. The numbers point to one of the largest school-leaving exam cycles the board has run.

The board said it kept the dates of major entrance examinations in mind while drawing up the schedule. The aim was to reduce clashes for students who sit both school board exams and entrance tests. It has not said which entrance exams were checked or how many clashes were avoided.

The announcement comes after the board had already published the dates for practical exams for Class 10 and 12 students. Those practical dates were announced earlier and are separate from the theory paper schedule.

Students and parents should check the full date sheet on the official CBSE website for subject-wise timings and paper dates. The date sheet is the main reference for planning revision and travel.

It is not yet known whether any changes to the timetable are planned. It is also not yet known how results will be declared or when admit cards will be issued.
